USCIS Launches Online Enterprise Change of Address Tool

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has introduced an online system for mass changes of address for “enterprises” – typically employer sponsors and law firms – that may need to change address of record for many pending cases all at the same time. They use the acronym “E-COA” for the new tool, which is accessible only through logging in to a USCIS account.  Unlike the online AR-11 form, it can’t simply be submitted through a web page without logging in.

Individual foreign nationals changing home address have long been able to accomplish this by filing the AR-11 change of address form online.  Such individuals are required to notify USCIS of a change within ten days of a move.

Individuals who are the victims of certain crimes, VAWA petitioners, trafficking victims, and I-751 Abuse waiver applicants must still submit a paper AR-11 by mail to update address.
