US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that as of yesterday, August 5, 2024, it has completed a second selection round for the fiscal 2025 H-1B cap lottery.

Anecdotally, it does not appear that many additional selections were done in this round.  Our office did not see any additional selections, and are hearing much the same form most though not all colleagues.

It remains unclear, though increasingly unlikely, that this year will see a third selection round.
