USCIS has announced that the new rules instituting in-person interviews at District Offices for those applying for employment-based Adjustment of Status will apply to cases filed on or after March 6, 2017.
These interviews, which per the late August USCIS announcement are being scheduled from October 3, 2017 onward, will not apply where the I-485 Application to Adjust Status was filed before March 6, 2017 – the date of an Administration Executive Order which the interviews are supposedly implementing.
